A black hole is a region of spacetime where gravity is so strong that nothing can escape from it even light and small particles can't escape from it. As nothing escapes from it, so the Time doesn't exist there. 

For Example- You are 24 years old and a black hole is created 50 feet away from you. You have your friend who is standing 6 inches away from the black hole. Now, until your friend will be digested by the black hole, you will be 100 years old.

In many books, it is written that Lord Shiv had crossed the black hole. It means there is no law of Physics or anything for him. He can also control the Time. 

Blackhole can be very small or very big. Many Black holes are observed. Small black holes do the same thing that a large black hole does. It will attract all the things surrounding it. No one can be saved from the Blackhole. It happens because it has indefinite density like singularity and can cause the same amount of destruction caused by big black holes as the Gravitational force is too strong in there that it nothing can escape it.
