Cyber bullying is when someone, typically a teenager, bullies or harasses others on the internet and in other digital spaces, particularly on social media. Harmful bullying behavior can include posting rumors, threats, and victims' personal information.



There are many types of cyberbullying:



* Sending inappropriate emails and texts to someone.

*Posting personal information like address, number, etc. social networks.


Cyber bullies may disclose victims' personal data (e.g. real name, home address, or workplace/schools) on websites or forums—called Doxing, or creating fake accounts, comments, or sites posing as their target for the purpose of publishing material in their name that defames, discredits or ridicules them.


Effects of Cyberbullying:


Feelings of isolation and fear, Poor concentration, Depression, Decreased self-esteem, and confidence.


Protection against Cyberbullying:


* Do not share your password, name, mobile number, address, etc. on the social networks.


* Do not respond to threatening messages received in the chat room via text, email, etc.


* Share with your parents or guardian if you are bullied by someone online.
